Ritemp provides Condensing Units and Evaporator Coils from manufactures who have been established in the refrigeration industry, and provide nationwide support. Units are available in a variety of configurations including: remote, top mount self-contained. To find the correct system for your Cooler or Freezer we take in to account many variables. Our engineering specialist takes into account Overall storage area, ambient temperature, holding temperature and frequency of door opening to recommend the correct unit that fits your specific refrigeration needs.
There are a wide array of units available with various sizes, BTUH capacities, amongst other option available for our consumers. The motors are high efficiency single and dual speed Electronically Commutated (EC) motors are available in 115V and 208/230v.
Types of Systems
1.Standard Top Mount System – Top Mount systems are self contained refrigeration systems. System comes installed with refrigeration gases, copper lines and all parts. This type of system requires a certain amount of space on top of cooler’s roof. A licensed refrigeration tech is mandatory to install the system. This type of system is easier to maintain since it sits right on top of the unit.
2. Remote systems- Remote systems are more affordable to buy. The complete system includes a Condensing Unit and Evaporator Coil and small parts like a pump down solenoid thermostat, site glass, expansion valve, and drain heater to install the system. Installation requires a licensed refrigeration installer since they are pumped down and charged with refrigerant gas on site. The only downside to these type of units is the evaporator coil hangs down inside the walk-in taking up shelf space, and head room in small walk-in boxes. Some units come with low profile coils that help, but do not eliminate this problem.
